Our Staff

Harold A. Black, DDS
Dr. Harold Black has called Savannah home for many years. He graduated from Savannah High School before attending Emory University where he earned his DDS. He is a member of many various professional societies including the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association and the Academy of Implants and Transplants. Dr. Black is an active staff and served as past Chief of Dentistry at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital and Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Black has served as the past president of the American Association of Hospital Dentists as well as the past president of the Bnai Birth Jacob Synagogue.

Christian Patti, DMD
Dr. Christian Patti joined Morrison Dental Associates in 2012 after practicing in Boston since 2005. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts and received his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He also completed advanced education in general dentistry at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

Leon Felps, DDS
Dr. Leon Felps received his DDS degree from University of Maryland – Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. He has over 40 years experience and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Michael Gray, DDS
Dr. Michael Gray earned his DDS from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. Dr. Gray offers general dentistry including implants as a Board Eligible member of the American Association of Implant Dentistry.

Celestino Perez, DMD
Dr. Celestino Perez is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Orthodontic Society and the International Association for Orthodontics. He earned his DMD and completed a pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Puerto Rico.

Robert A. Kobylarz, DDS
Dr. Robert Kobylarz joined MDA specializing in the area of orthodontic dental services after more than 25 years of private practice in Michigan. He earned his DDS and Orthodontic Degree Certificate at the University of Detroit’s Mercy School of Dentistry. Dr. Kobylarz is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, served as the president of the MACOMB Dental Association in 1980 and was a member of the orthodontics Peer Review panel for the Michigan Dental Association for ten years. He also is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Michigan Association of Orthodontists, and the World Federation of Orthodontists.

Joseph E. Brown, III, DMD
Dr. Joseph Brown is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina (2008) with extensive training in the application of Invisalign, mini-dental implants, facial esthetics and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Hilton Head/Bluffton Dental Society. As a member of the South Carolina Dental Association, Dr. Brown serves as the Chairman of the Committee of the New Dentist and as the House of Delegate member representing the Coastal District. He is a Lieutenant in the US Navy Dental Reserves and currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Jasper County Republican Party.

Brad Busbee, DMD
Dr. Brad Busbee attended the University of South Carolina for undergraduate studies and the Medical College of South Carolina earning his DMD in 2001. He is licensed to practice dentistry in Georgia as well as South Carolina and is a member the American Dental Association. Dr. Busbee offers general family dental care at the Wilmington Island location on Johnny Mercer Blvd.

Marcus M. Young, DDS
Dr. Marcus Young joined Morrison Dental Associates in September 2011 offering general dental care at the 31st Street location. He graduated from the Morehouse College with a BS in 1996. After obtaining his MS in 2000 from Syracuse University, Dr. Young earned his DMD from New York University College of Dentistry in 2007. He served in the free dental clinic at Savannah Tech since 2010.

Celestino Perez, DMD
Dr. Celestino Perez is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Orthodontic Society and the International Association for Orthodontics. He earned his DMD and completed a pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Puerto Rico.

Al Roberts , DMD
Dr. Al Roberts earned his DMD from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He has been practicing since 1998 and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association.

George A. Townes, DMD
Dr. George Townes is a graduate of the College of Charleston and earned his DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1999. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the South Carolina Dental Association.

Michael R. Kennedy, DDS
Dr. Michael Kennedy earned his DDS from Emory University in 1967. After serving in the United States Air Force he returned to Emory University as an Associate Professor. Dr. Kennedy is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of General Dentistry.

Robert M. Smith, DDS
Dr. Bob Smith attended the University of Georgia for undergraduate studies then earned his DDS from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1966. He has been in practice of over 42 years and in 1985 opened the Dr. Bob’s Family Dental Care in Brunswick. Fondly know as “Dr. Bob”, he has lead the Morrison Dental team of providers since 2002. He is a member of the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and participates in the local Chamber of Commerce.

Mark R. Johnson, DDS
Dr. Mark Johnson earned his DDS from Indiana University.

Daniel J. Lee, DMD
Dr. Daniel Lee joined MDA in 2006 after he earned his DMD in Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia Dental School in Augusta, Georgia. He participated in the Yonsei University Dental Outreach Program in Seoul, Korea 2005-2006 and currently is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
